At Milk+Honey Lactation & Infant Feeding, we believe feeding education begins before your baby arrives. Our prenatal lactation consultations are designed to prepare you with confidence, knowledge, and hands-on guidance for the early days of feeding—because a smooth start often begins with the right support.

Whether this is your first baby or you’re hoping for a different experience this time around, our team of Certified Breastfeeding Specialists and IBCLCs provides compassionate, evidence-based prenatal care to help you feel ready and supported. We’ll walk you through what to expect in the first hours and weeks after birth, teach you how to recognize hunger cues, and explain how milk production really works. You’ll leave understanding what a deep latch looks and feels like, how to know your baby is transferring milk effectively, and what’s normal (and what’s not) when it comes to newborn feeding patterns.

We also offer education for families planning to pump, bottle feed, or return to work, including guidance on flange sizing, milk storage, paced bottle feeding, and creating a healthy pumping routine that supports your supply and goals.

Our prenatal sessions can be booked in-office or virtually, so you can prepare from the comfort of your home—no matter where you’re located. Each visit is personalized to your unique situation, birth plan, and feeding preferences.
