Where Support Meets Reality:
No two feeding journeys look the same — and that’s why your first appointment matters.
It’s a chance for us to listen, support you, and help you feel confident in how you feed your baby — whether that’s at the breast, with a pump, with a bottle, with formula, or somewhere beautifully in between.
If you’re preparing for baby: book a Prenatal Visit — we’ll walk through real expectations, hands-on education, and the things no one tells you.
If baby is here: book a Postpartum Visit — we’ll troubleshoot challenges, support feeding goals, and build a plan that feels do-able, calm, and aligned with your baby’s needs.
You don’t have to figure this out alone — we’re here to walk with you.
At Milk+Honey Lactation & Infant Feeding, we believe every family deserves access to expert feeding support without financial barriers.
We proudly accept most major insurance plans — with no out-of-pocket cost and no referral required for your visit.
We are in-network with the following plans:
Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (all plans), Independence BCBS, Horizon, Anthem, Highmark BCBS, United Healthcare, Cigna, Tricare, Johns Hopkins USFHP, GEHA, UMR, Meritain, Integra, Claims Bridge, and First Health Network.
If you’re not covered by one of these plans, we also offer a discounted self-pay rate to ensure our care remains accessible
Please note: We’re unable to accept Medicaid plans at this time.
We are working on our contract!
Follow the steps below if this is your ONLY insurance coverage.
Medicaid & Self-Pay
If you are covered by Medicaid or do not currently have insurance that will cover IBCLC care, we’re committed to offering transparent self-pay options so you can still access expert lactation support.
Unfortunately, at this time, we are not able to accept Medicaid plans. We understand how important this support is, and we are actively working to expand our coverage in the future.
