Home Visits:

This visit is all about helping you and your baby feed with comfort and confidence. Your lactation consultant will check latch, milk transfer, positioning, and oral function — and work with you to create a feeding plan that fits your family’s needs.

Whether you’re nursing, pumping, bottle-feeding, or combo feeding, we’ll meet you where you are and make sure you leave with answers (and relief).

Please note for New Patients:

We are only offering home visits to families in the Middletown, Townsend + Odessa area. Limited Availability.

For home visits:

We’ll meet virtually first (typically same day or next day)  to review your history, discuss your goals, and plan your in-office visit with the right tools — flanges, pumps, bottles, and more.

Then we will see you in home for your 90 minutes of support!

Your consultant or our admin assistant will schedule your in-home visit, so you can focus on your baby — not the logistics.

At Milk+Honey Lactation & Infant Feeding, we believe every family

deserves access to expert feeding support without financial barriers.

We proudly accept most major insurance plans — with no out-of-pocket cost and no referral required for your visit.

Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (all plans), Independence BCBS, Horizon, Anthem, United Healthcare,

Cigna, Tricare, Johns Hopkins USFHP, GEHA, UMR, Meritain, Integra, Claims Bridge, and First Health Network.

If you’re not covered by one of these plans, we also offer a discounted self-pay rate to ensure our care remains accessible

Please note: We’re unable to accept Medicaid plans at this time.

Our in-network plans include (but are not limited to):

Medicaid + Out of Network Plans

Kelly Mckenzie RN, IBCLC

If you are covered by Medicaid or do not currently have insurance that will cover IBCLC care, we’re committed to offering transparent self-pay options so you can still access expert lactation support.

Unfortunately, at this time, we are not able to accept Medicaid plans. We understand how important this support is, and we are actively working to expand our coverage in the future.
